About Our Church

At New Windsor Presbyterian we believe the Bible is the word of God without error, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that eternal life is for all who trust in Jesus Christ alone as their Savior. You are most welcome to join us Sunday morning to worship our God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The worship service is a traditional one that incorporates some contemporary worship and an opportunity for anyone to share in our prayer and thanksgiving time. The goal of our worship is to give honor to our God and Savior, Jesus Christ; to be nurtured by the instruction and application of God’s word, the holy Bible; to encourage one another in our love for God and our neighbor; and to be better prepared for service in God’s kingdom when we leave the service.

Our worship service is at 8:45 AM every Sunday morning.

About Our Denomination

The Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP) Church is an evangelical denomination which holds to the historic Christian faith as revealed in the Bible. Our beliefs are summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith.

  • God is the sovereign creator and ruler of the universe.
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the only Savior and Lord of man.
  • The Holy Spirit is the initiator and enabler for the Christian life.
  • The Bible is the inerrant Word of God, the only rule of faith and practice.

The ARP Synod is the central body of government for our denomination. Information about ARP outreaches can be found on the ARP church website along with other explanations of our doctrines: http://arpchurch.org/

Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.

Amen.
